Key Responsibilities- Lead security authorization support for complex systems and portfolios, with accountability for authorization readiness, remediation, quality, and continuity.
- Leads ISSO execution for assigned systems and portfolios, coordinating with system owners, ISSEs, CRMU, and other stakeholders.
- Drives authorization readiness, POA&M and continuous-monitoring actions, resolves documentation and control gaps, and provides senior technical and process leadership.
- May serve as a task lead and mentor other ISSOs.
Required Qualifications- Active Top Secret clearance (Must meet applicable security, clearance, training, background, facility-access, and polygraph requirements)
- Master's Degree in one of the following disciplines (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering) OR one of the following Certifications (CISM, CISSP, CISSP-ISSMP, FITSP-M, GCIA, GCIH, GICSP, GSLC)
Required Technical Experience - Advanced proficiency aligned to Security Architect (652/612) of DOD 8140 requirements
- At least 7 years as an ISSO or ISSE at a cleared facility; and at least 9 years in a computer science/cybersecurity-related field.
Preferred Technical Experience - DOJ RMF/SAA
- Advanced JCAM/Xacta
- Experience leading system-owner coordination and continuous monitoring
- Additional cybersecurity certification
- Team leadership experience
- FISMA/audit support
