Role Summary

Fanatics Collect is building the next generation of interactive collecting - where real-time digital experiences meet physical products.

As a Senior Interactive Engineer (TP4), you will be a core builder of our interactive platform, developing high-performance rendering systems that power experiences like Instant Rips and Instant Wax. This role is critical to bringing a previously outsourced capability in-house and establishing a strong technical foundation for future innovation.

You'll operate with significant ownership, partnering closely with design and product to ship performant, scalable, and extensible systems.

What You'll Do

- Build and evolve the core WebGL rendering layer (BabylonJS) for interactive collecting experiences

- Develop custom GLSL shaders to support real-time visual experiences

- Optimize GPU performance, rendering efficiency, and load times

- Contribute to the migration from vendor-built systems to an internal codebase

- Implement reusable technical patterns and components to support scalability

- Partner with Creative Technologists to ensure visual fidelity and performance alignment

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate experiences across the Collect platform

- Support rapid iteration on new interactive formats and features
