Position Description:

This role is located at our client site in Pittsburgh, PA.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Integration & Payments Architect with 10+ years of progressive IT experience specializing in enterprise integration and middleware technologies. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Financial and Banking Products such as IBM FTM, ICON etc. with good experience in digital payments, payments modernization, Java, and ESQL.

This role requires a strong combination of hands on engineering, solution architecture, payments domain expertise, modernization experience, production support leadership, and technical team leadership. The individual will be responsible for designing and implementing highly scalable, resilient, secure, and high-performance integration solutions supporting mission critical payment and financial transaction platforms.

The candidate should have demonstrated experience modernizing legacy integration and payment platforms toward microservices, event driven architectures, containerized platforms, and cloud native technologies, while maintaining stringent requirements around availability, security, regulatory compliance, auditability, and operational resilience.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Enterprise integration architecture and engineering: Design, develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise grade integration solutions using technologies such as IBM MQ, WMB, ACE, FTM etc.
. Payment's architecture and modernizations: Design integration solutions supporting industry standard financial messaging and payment formats. Provide technical leadership for large scale payment processing and payment modernization initiatives.
. Platform modernization & migration: Lead or support complex middleware modernization and platform migration initiatives
. Cloud natrive & containerization: Implement containerized strategies that improve scalability, availability, deployment consistency, operational efficiency, maintainability and resilience.
. DevOps & CI/CD: Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines for enterprise integration applications.
. Production Engineering & Operational Resilience: Provide technical leadership for mission critical production integration and payment platforms. Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, reconciliation, traceability, and audit mechanisms.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. 10+ years of overall experience
. Deep expertise in platform tools and middleware technology of competing payments products
. Significant experience and expertise in FTM and digital payments
. Demonstrated experience designing large scale enterprise integration architectures.
. Strong knowledge of ESB, SOA, microservices, event driven architecture, and message-oriented middleware.
. Hands on experience with REST API development and OpenAPI/Swagger.
. Demonstrated expertise in performance optimization, security hardening, resiliency, and high availability architectures.
. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem solving, and client facing skills.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $70,800.00 $156,700.00.
