Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Integrated Business Planning Analyst leads project design, testing, rollout and performance monitoring for support of Supply Chain Systems and Applications and interfaces with other areas of the Business. This role is critical in the rollout of new functionality and enhancements of existing tools and functionality which support supply planning. The Senior Integrated Business Planning Analyst plays a critical role in developing & leading projects that involve Integrated Business Planning tool functionality, support of migrating users to new tools, process management creation, and troubleshooting existing issues. The incumbent acts as super user for supply planning, reporting and deployment and understands master data as it relates to MPS, DRP and deployment planning.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES AND TASKS:
  • Develops & executes testing of system upgrades, equipment changes or new implementations of systems to confirm requirements have been successfully solutioned.
  • Ensures all system-specific mapping and product coding is maintained and current.
  • Develop and support business and operation processing algorithms.
  • Updates business users on new functionality design & rollout of systems and tools.
  • Works with users to manage system setting impacting system performance and/or data output.
  • Works with users to review current processes for improvement opportunities and simplification.
  • Monitors and supports as Super User to the following functions: Supply Planning, Manufacturing Planning & Demand Planning
  • Primary liaison for build related tasks for internal and external business partners.
  • Actively facilitates participation in all phases of system implementation including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, system design and development, testing and roll-out and support.
  • Supports business reporting and advanced analytics through deployment of Daily Dashboards, Supply Trackers, Global Capacity managements and MS Excel / Power BI.
  • Executes process re-design and enhancements that promote efficiency and information transparency based on current system.
  • Acts as the liaison for all systems related topics within Supply Planning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 5+ year's relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
  • SAP experience (SD/PP/MM) or equivalent experience, required.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP & Supply Chain SAAS required.
  • Anaplan experience, preferred.
  • SQL and/or Python experience, preferred.
  • PlanIQ and/ or Machine Learning/ Data Science, preferred
  • Previous experience with a consumer-packaged goods industry, preferred.
  • Knowledge of consumer goods production, operations and industry practices.
  • Background and understanding of supply chain management principles such as Production Planning, Purchasing, Forecasting, and Logistics.
  • Experience training and developing team members on technical programs and tools.
  • Experience architecting solutions for existing or new models.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, decision making, written and verbal communication and presentation skills to working level as well as executive levels.
  • High competency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Power BI experience preferred.
  • Ability to gain the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.
  • Ability plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective relationship management with internal & external business partners / customers.
  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.

  • 15%-25% travel to production facilities
The expected pay range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000 annually.
Smithfield Foods provides pay ranges that reflect its good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage the company reasonably expects to pay for a position at the time of hire. Individual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, location of the position, the candidate's qualifications and experience, internal equity, external market pay for comparable positions and budget considerations.
