Your opportunity:

The Senior Information Systems Analyst isa vital role within the SIS Core team, reporting to the Manager, SIS Core System Products. In this position, you will play a key role in supporting, enhancing, and modernizing the University's Student Information System (ROSI), a mission-critical platform that enables essential academic and administrative services across the student lifecycle. Working closely with developers, analysts, designers, and business stakeholders, you will contribute to both new and existing products using established delivery approaches, including Agile methodologies. You will be involved across the full product lifecycle, from discovery and design through development, implementation, and ongoing support, with particular focus on ROSI, ACORN, and related systems and processes. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned analyst with strong expertise in student registration and fees processing to make a meaningful impact on both day-to-day operations and a broader transformation program to modernize the University's student information ecosystem.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Research, analyze, and recommend enhancements to system features, functionality, and processes.
  • Assess proposed system changes toensure alignment with business needs and operational processes.
  • Test business applications and system changes to confirm reliability, accuracy, and overall performance.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements to support systemimprovements and project delivery.
  • Provide clients and stakeholders with detailed information on system capabilities, specifications, and impacts.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, including milestones, timelines, deliverables, critical paths, and status reporting.


Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a higher education environment.
  • Extensive experience using and supporting enterprise student information systems.
  • Demonstrated experience applying business analysis methodologies, practices, and tools.
  • Experience providing support to users of business applications in a complex organizational environment.
  • Experience delivering user training and developing clear, effective user documentation.
  • Strong understanding of admissions, registration, enrolment, course management, and fees processing.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex concepts, requirements, and procedures to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering a high standard of client service.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into clear models and actionable concepts.
  • Demonstrated project and product management skills, including the ability to identify dependencies, assess risks, and prioritize competing demands.


Assets (Nonessential):

  • Familiarity with Service Now, Azure DevOps or other service ticketing and task management applications
