Position DescriptionThe successful candidate will lead and perform records management, file digitization, quality control, and workflow coordination activities supporting the accurate conversion, organization, retention, and accessibility of Government records.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and perform document preparation, scanning, digitization, electronic file organization, and records tracking in accordance with Government procedures.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for file digitization and electronic records management activities.
- Prioritize workloads, assign and coordinate team activities, monitor production, and track work through completion.
- Research file status, complete required checklists, and maintain accurate tracking spreadsheets and production records.
- Organize, title, and store electronic files within designated Government network folders in accordance with established file structures and naming conventions.
- Perform quality control reviews of digitized records for accuracy, completeness, legibility, and compliance with records management requirements.
- Provide technical guidance, work direction, and quality review for work performed by other team personnel.
- Identify and resolve file organization, documentation, scanning, and records management issues.
- Use Microsoft Office, File Explorer, Adobe, and related Government records management tools to support document processing, tracking, and file maintenance.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree preferred; Education may be substituted with relevant professional experience
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience preferably performing similar duties.
- Experience leading or coordinating information management activities and teams, including workload assignment, workflow management, production tracking, quality control, and schedule management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of information and records management practices, including document lifecycle management, records retention, electronic file organization, naming conventions, and information protocol adherence.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, File Explorer, and Adobe Acrobat, including electronic document management, PDF processing, data tracking, and maintenance of organized information repositories.
- Ability to effectively communicate with Government stakeholders, project teams, and contractor personnel.
- Ability to work on client site.
TravelThis role may necessitate travel to operational sites in various locations for the purpose of obtaining and maintaining Government provided access cards and equipment.
