Full Job Description
Energy Management Corporation (EMC) is seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Field Service Technician to join our Denver-based service team. EMC has been a trusted leader in industrial automation for over 46 years, specializing in electric motors, VFDs, and industrial drive systems.

This position is ideal for a highly skilled technician who can work independently, troubleshoot complex industrial equipment, and provide exceptional customer support in the field.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial motors, VFDs, and drive systems
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical failures using diagnostic tools and software
  • Perform equipment start-ups and warranty service
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Communicate repair recommendations and technical findings with customers and management
  • Maintain accurate service records, time reporting, and inventory on assigned service truck
  • Support emergency service calls and participate in rotating 24/7 on-call schedule
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment at customer sites

Occasional overnight and weekend travel required.

Preferred Experience
  • 5+ years of industrial field service or related electrical/mechanical experience
  • Strong knowledge of electric motors, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial electrical systems
  • Experience troubleshooting industrial automation equipment
  • Welding and fabrication experience a plus
