Full Job Description

In this Role You Will: 

  • Provide advanced Tier 3 technical infrastructure, DevOps and engineering support for complex issues escalated from other support and technical service teams. 
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance to ensure uptime, reliability, and compliance with SLAs. 
  • Serve as an escalation point for Azure implementation-related challenges. 
  • Is a key participant in new feature development from an implementation perspective, working closely with leadership and occasionally product and engineering teams. 
  • Contribute to documentation, automation scripts, and internal knowledge sharing for continuous improvement. 
  • Engage in special projects and perform other related duties as assigned. 

What It Takes: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of training and experience. 
  • 8+ years of cloud engineering experience, with at least 4 years working in Azure environments. 
  • Extensive hands-on expertise with Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Functions, Virtual Networks, Azure Active Directory, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), and Azure Synapse Analytics. 
  • In-depth understanding of Windows administration, hyperconverged technologies, networking, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). 
  • Skilled in building infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, or Azure Resource Manager templates. 
  • Thorough knowledge of CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins. 
  • Exceptional troubleshooting abilities in cloud infrastructure, networking, security best practices, and performance tuning. 
  • Experience supporting Agile/Scrum development environments. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Specializations That Will Make an Impact: 

  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert or DevOps Engineer Expert certification. 
  • Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud platforms. 
  • Scripting experience in PowerShell, Bash, or Python. 
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. 
  • Experience leading and mentoring staff and technical support teams. 
  • Experience with production readiness review processes.
