S³ is currently seeking a Senior Human Resources Specialistto join the corporate Human Resources team at our HQ in Research Park, Huntsville, AL.
Position Description:
The Senior HR Specialist will be responsible for the delivery of human resources programs and services to multiple location sites and business units and to provide a broad range of HR support actions for achieving business objectives
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the delivery of human resources programs and services to multiple location sites and business units
• Provide a broad range of HR support actions for achieving business objectives
• Prepare Reporting Data and HR Metrics as Required
• Lead the compliance of S3 internal resume documents in accordance with company policy
• Perform review and assessment of salary to job requirement candidates for CONUS AND OCONUS positions.
• Maintain productive and collaborative relationships with internal customers and HR team.
• Support HR Management with special projects and contribute to functional and cross functional teaming projects.
• Lead internal investigations in conjunction with the appropriate resources
• Prepare and deliver AAP, EEO, ACA and other federally mandated reporting.
• Assists in the administration and coordination of various benefits plans
• Administer the company leave program including LWOP, FMLA, STD, and oversee Workers Compensation
• Lead in the development and implementation of HR plans, policies, programs, and procedures in partnership with the leadership team
• Lead community events as a company representative
• Managed HR company social media content and branding
Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field of study and 10 years of Human Resources experience OR a Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field of study and 8 years of Human Resources experience
• At least 10 years of experience providing reports and records to support audits by OFCCP, DOL, EEOC and other government agencies.
• At least 10 years of HR experience working for a defense industry contractor.
• Experience managing HR programs for CBA, GSA, SCA, and/or international contracts.
• Must be a US citizen and have an active DoW secret security clearance or have the ability to get a secret clearance.
• 2 years of experience in HR, while working with a company's social media content and branding.
• At least 2 years of experience working in an HRIS (i.e. Deltek Costpoint).
