Senior Human Resource ManagerLocation: 1 Dixon Square, Chestertown, MD 21620
Shift: 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Pay Range: $80,000-$120,0000
What You'll Do:- Participate in a cross-functional rotation, gaining hands-on experience and a deep understanding of every area within the department.
- Manage and execute HR initiatives that directly support and advance organizational goals.
- Assist in developing and driving effective recruitment and hiring strategies to attract top talent.
- Serve as a trusted advocate and point of contact for employees, effectively managing interpersonal relationships at all levels of the business.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs and manage leave requests.
- Support performance evaluation processes to foster employee growth and accountability.
- Manage HR systems, metrics, and reporting to ensure accurate data tracking and actionable insights.
- Guarantee that all HR operations comply with current local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Actively promote our core values through all daily HR practices and employee interactions.
What We're Looking For:- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and ability.
- Proven experience as an HR professional for 10 years, with a comprehensive understanding of HR principles and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, multi-state preferred.
- Ability and willingness to do the work with a positive outlook.
- People oriented and results driven.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Experience with HR systems (UKG preferred), metric and reporting.
- Excellent active, listening, negotiation, presentation, and commutation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the business.
