Full Job Description
The Senior Human Resources Manager serves as a strategic business partner to Shamrock Foods Company's Manufacturing Division, supporting a large and diverse workforce across multiple manufacturing facilities. This role partners closely with manufacturing leadership to align people strategies with business objectives, foster an engaged and high-performing workforce, and drive a positive employee experience. As a trusted advisor, the Senior Human Resources Manager provides guidance on complex employee relations matters, workforce planning, talent development, organizational effectiveness, and change management initiatives.

This position leads a team of Human Resources Business Partners and acts as a critical link between operations and Human Resources Centers of Excellence, including Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Compensation, Safety, and Legal. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, the ability to influence leaders at all levels, and a proactive approach to identifying and solving workforce challenges within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties:

  • Serve as the primary Human Resources partner to manufacturing leadership, providing strategic guidance and solutions that support operational goals, workforce needs, and employee engagement.
  • Lead and develop a team of Human Resources Business Partners, providing coaching, direction, and support to ensure consistent delivery of HR programs and services.
  • Build strong relationships with leaders across multiple manufacturing facilities and influence business decisions through sound HR expertise, data-driven insights, and business acumen.
  • Partner with operations leaders to anticipate workforce needs, support workforce planning efforts, and develop strategies to attract, retain, and develop talent.
  • Provide guidance and leadership on complex employee relations matters, including performance management, investigations, corrective action, attendance concerns, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
  • Identify workforce trends, risks, and organizational challenges, and develop practical solutions that balance associate experience, business needs, and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop staffing strategies and support hiring initiatives that meet current and future operational demands.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources Centers of Excellence, including Talent Acquisition, Safety, Benefits, Compensation, and Legal, to effectively implement programs, initiatives, and organizational priorities.
  • Support leadership development and succession planning efforts by identifying high-potential talent and creating development strategies that strengthen organizational capability.
  • Lead and oversee Human Resources projects and initiatives, driving execution across locations while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Champion Shamrock's culture and values by fostering an inclusive, respectful, and high-performance work environment.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and facilitate onboarding, training, and employee communication initiatives that support associate engagement and organizational effectiveness.
  • Analyze workforce metrics and trends to provide recommendations and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 6+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including HR Business Partner, management, or strategic HR leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or other operational environments.
  • Strong employee relations experience, including investigations, policy interpretation, and coaching leaders through performance, attendance, and disciplinary matters.
  • Proven ability to influence leaders and build trusted partnerships across the business.
  • Experience supporting workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, organizational effectiveness, and change management initiatives.
  • Experience supporting multiple locations, business units, or complex operational environments.
  • Experience leading and developing Human Resources professionals.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and Human Resources best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to build effective partnerships across Talent Acquisition, Safety, Benefits, Compensation, Legal, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
