Hiring Range: $98,696.00 to $134,888.00
Summary of Job Responsibilities:
The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Senior Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing professional-level Human Resources assistance, services, and guidance to designated departments/programs within SCF on a wide scope of Human Resources issues: recruitment and selection, classification, compensation, benefits, training, labor relations or other areas as assigned.
Qualifications:
SCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF's geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population. Such knowledge is critical to ensure the achievement of SCF's vision of a Native Community that enjoys physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellness, and mission of working together with the Native Community to achieve wellness through health and related services:
1. BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field; OR equivalent combination of education and Human Resources experience; OR demonstrated proficiency as a Human Resources Generalist II at SCF.
2. Four (4) years of professional human resources experience.
3. Professional human resources certification through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) or Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI), or ability to obtain certification within twelve (12) months of hire.
