Senior Human Resources Generalist
The Senior HR Generalist provides day-to-day human resources support across multiple functional areas, including employee relations, onboarding, investigations, compliance, performance management, and HR operations. This role partners closely with managers and employees to support a positive employee experience while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. This position requires a hands-on HR professional who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment and work independently with strong attention to detail and responsiveness.
This role reports to the Human Resources Director and partners closely with operational leadership across multiple regions
Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees regarding HR policies, procedures, employee relations matters, and workplace concerns.
• Support and conduct employee investigations involving policy violations, workplace complaints, and employee concerns.
• Assist with employee onboarding, offboarding, and new hire orientation processes.
• Support performance management processes, corrective actions, and employee documentation.
• Assist managers with employee coaching, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Support multi-state HR compliance initiatives, including California employment law requirements.
• Assist with leave administration, accommodations, and employee requests as needed.
• Maintain accurate personnel records and HR documentation.
• Support unemployment claims, garnishments, audits, and reporting activities.
• Assist with HR reporting, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
• Partner with operational leadership to provide practical HR support in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate effectively across departments to support organizational goals and employee engagement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience preferred
• Employee relations and workplace investigation experience preferred
• Experience supporting multi-state workforces preferred
• Working knowledge of California employment law strongly preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills strongly preferred
• HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.) preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems required
• Experience with UKG Ready preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and move items up to 15 pounds.
• Ability to travel occasionally, as needed, for meetings, training, or operational support.
