Job Information:

As a Senior HR Business Partner at FloWorks, your primary role is to partner with organizational leaders across multiple business units to drive strategic business objectives through effective people solutions. This position serves as a trusted advisor focused heavily on employee relations, compliance, investigations, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and leadership coaching. The Senior HRBP utilizes analytics and workforce data to identify trends, mitigate risk, and provide proactive recommendations to leadership. While this role maintains working knowledge across all HR disciplines, including compensation, benefits, payroll, and recruiting, the primary emphasis is employee relations strategy, compliance, and business partnership. This position can serve as a coach, mentor, and strategic consultant to leaders across the organization. This position will report directly to Human Resources Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partners with assigned client groups in the interpretation and administration of human resources policies, employment law, compliance practices, and organizational initiatives across multiple business units and locations.
  • Leads and manages complex employee relations matters including investigations, conflict resolution, corrective actions, performance concerns, and policy interpretation while ensuring fair and compliant outcomes.
  • Provides strategic coaching and guidance to leaders on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, employee engagement, leadership development, succession planning, and change management initiatives.
  • Guides and assists employees and managers in the interpretation and administration of HR policies, procedures, practices, and programs.
  • Drives and supports organizational change initiatives, organizational design efforts, workforce planning strategies, and business transformation activities.
  • Partners with the entire HR team including recruiting, payroll, benefits, & to support business objectives and employee needs.
  • Analyzes workforce metrics and trends including headcount, turnover, retention, engagement, talent movement, and HR program execution to develop data-driven recommendations and action plans.
  • Identifies organizational risks and proactively recommends solutions to improve employee experience, compliance, operational effectiveness, and overall workforce performance.
  • Supports annual HR processes including performance management, merit planning, talent reviews, and succession planning activities.
  • Serves as a trusted advisor and coach to leadership by building strong relationships, influencing decision-making, and supporting business strategy execution.
  • This role performs work directly related to the management and general business operations of the organization.
  • The position exercises independent judgment and discretion on matters of significance, including employee relations, compliance risk, and organizational effectiveness.
  • The role operates with a high degree of autonomy and influences business decisions through strategic HR partnership.


Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Business Administration, or related degree; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 5-10+ years supporting field operations (e.g., service technicians, drivers, fleet, distribution branches, or warehouse environments), including experience with safety-sensitive or compliance-driven workforces.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce data, identify trends, and provide actionable business recommendations.
  • Advanced knowledge of employment law, HR compliance requirements, and employee relations best practices.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally with employees and leaders at all organizational levels.
  • Must be resourceful with the ability to think critically, solve problems, and manage sensitive and complex situations with sound judgment.


Work Environment:

This role operates in a professional office environment with flexibility for hybrid work. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers are used. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required.
