Full Job Description
As a Senior EHS Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the organization's health, safety, and environmental engineering efforts. You will ensure the highest standards of health and safety for employees, compliance with environmental regulations, and the implementation of best practices in engineering-related safety.

You will report directly to our EHS and you'll work out of our Tijuana location on a full on site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact our organization by overseeing the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs that ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders will contribute to the overall success and reputation of our business as a responsible and sustainable organization.
• Develop and implement comprehensive EHS strategies that align with the organization's mission, ensuring a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility.
• Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications.
• Develop and implement proactive safety measures, training, and policies to prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses in the workplace.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards, providing engineering solutions and preventive measures.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans for EHS-related incidents, including accidents and environmental emergencies.
• Establish and enforce quality control standards in EHS engineering, conducting regular inspections and performance assessments.
• Collaborate with various internal departments, senior management, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication, training, and education on EHS matters

YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in EHS Engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities.
