Job SummaryThe Senior HR Business Partner collaborates closely with business leaders and department managers in assigned client groups to provide tactical and strategic HR support and solutions that align with organizational goals and objectives. The role utilizes strong HR expertise, business acumen, and relationship-building skills to effectively partner with stakeholders across the organization.
This role works to achieve operational targets under general supervision. Requires the ability to influence others by explaining facts, policies, and practices. Problems faced may be difficult but generally not complex. Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and transparency; upholds BKV standards, values, and culture.
Responsibilities- Partner with business leaders to understand their strategic objectives, challenges, and talent needs.
- Provide expert HR guidance and support to business units on a wide range of HR topics, including, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management and organizational development.
- Support talent management initiatives, including workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development programs.
- Collaborate with managers to identify high-potential employees and support employee growth and development.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and consultant to managers on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct investigations into employee complaints or grievances and recommend appropriate resolutions in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Support organizational change initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, and process improvements, by providing change management expertise and guidance to leaders and employees.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including employment laws and regulations.
- Partner with the HR team to review, update, and communicate HR policies and practices to ensure consistency and fairness across the organization.
- Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Perform other duties as required.

Education & ExperienceRequired
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 7-10 years of progressive human resources experience, including experience in an HR business partner or comparable role advising leaders and supporting employees across multiple HR disciplines.
Preferred
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field
- Professional HR certification, such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR; SHRM-CP or PHR.
Physical Demands and Working ConditionsLocation
- This position based out of the BKV Office in Houston, TX. Position is hybrid depending on weekly priorities and events.
- Some travel (up to 15%) may be required.
Working Conditions
- Primarily office-based with standard business hours; extended hours may be required depending on business needs. May occasionally be exposed to distracting noise while sharing office space with others.
