Senior Developer, GuidewireAbout the RoleThe Senior Developer, Guidewire leads the design, configuration, and development of Guidewire (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and ClaimCenter) solutions within cloud-based environments. This role partners with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality implementations across commercial and personal lines of business. The Senior Developer provides advanced technical expertise in PolicyCenter configuration, integrations, and platform extensions, ensuring adherence to Guidewire best practices and development standards. This role also supports complex troubleshooting, performance optimization, and solution design across the full implementation lifecycle.
What you do- Lead development and configuration of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions across commercial and personal lines.
- Design and implement integrations and platform extensions using Guidewire Cloud best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure adherence to coding standards and development quality.
- Troubleshoot complex configuration and integration issues, performing root-cause analysis and resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions within established timelines.
- Contribute to technical documentation and support continuous improvement of development practices.
What you bring- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, Billing Center and ClaimCenter, including Cloud implementations.
- Strong experience supporting multiple lines of business such as Personal Auto, Home, Commercial Auto, BOP, or Workers' Compensation.
- Advanced expertise in PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and ClaimCenter configuration, integrations, and Guidewire data models.
- Proficiency in Gosu, Core Java, and Guidewire product model design and development.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Location and Work Authorization- This is a hybrid role- required to be in office for 1st week or orientation and potential intermittent client travel.

The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, education, work location, and internal equity.
In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, commissions, or other incentive programs, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, etc.
Estimated Compensation Range:
$115,000-$150,000 USD
