Job Role : GRC Consultant
Location Canada (Remote)
Mandatory Skills
10 years of experience in Application Governance IT Compliance Audit Coordination Technical Application Management Regulatory Programs or GRC.
Proven experience supporting regulatory compliance audits attestations and evidence collection programs.
Strong understanding of compliance documentation management evidence repositories and audit readiness.
Experience managing risk assessments compliance gaps remediation tracking and issue escalation.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate across Business IT Compliance Cybersecurity and Vendor teams.
Experience creating and maintaining risk registers action trackers compliance dashboards and executive status reports.
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience driving governance activities across large application portfolios 200 applications preferred.
Secondary Skills
Experience with NYDFS Cybersecurity Regulation compliance programs.
Knowledge of SOX SOC ISO 27001 NIST COBIT or similar regulatorycompliance frameworks.
Familiarity with Application Inventory Management AIM and application governance processes.
Exposure to Cybersecurity Risk Management IT Controls and Governance Risk Compliance GRC programs.
Experience supporting internal or external audit engagements.
Knowledge of compliance evidence lifecycle management and audit best practices.
Experience developing governance processes operating procedures workflows and control frameworks.
Familiarity with compliance reporting tools dashboards and workflow management solutions.
