Job Description

We're looking for a stellar Hardware focused Senior Global Product Manager to lead the development and launch of strategic new consumer electronics hardware products at Cricut. Known for our innovation and product design, you will have the opportunity to take us to the next level, as you translate market and consumer insights into strategic product launches.

As a Senior Global Product Manager, you'll:
  • Manage the strategy and execution of new product innovation and renovation
  • Create full product business plans, including product concept, positioning, forecasting, P&L management, etc.
  • Conduct industry and competitive analyses to drive strategic product decisions
  • Identify key research questions and assist in developing consumer learning plan
  • Actively conduct research and share insights with the cross-functional team
  • Define the consumer target, positioning, key benefits and features
  • Develop product requirements and gain cross-functional alignment
  • Work closely with ID, engineering, China team and QA on executing the product
  • Lead Gate meetings associated with the product launch
  • Track project timeline and ensure team is hitting key milestones
  • Lead development of product packaging, partnering with Creative Team
  • Partner with channel marketing to develop selling story for channel partners
  • Partner with marketing to support successful product launch
  • Managing ongoing business post launch, including tracking product performance
  • Manage other existing products, including business reporting, forecasting, and on-going business needs


Qualifications
  • Consumer Hardware Industry Focus: Prior experience managing consumer electronics products is required.
  • Education & Experience: Master of Business Administration (MBA) strongly preferred, or a Bachelor's degree accompanied by 7+ years of dedicated product marketing background.
  • Global Strategic & Brand Management: Proven track record in global brand or product management, specifically in formulating launch strategies for new innovations and bringing them to fruition.
  • Strategic Acumen: Skilled in creating robust product strategies from the ground up within fluid, non-traditional operational environments.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Highly adaptable and driven to succeed in high-tempo, startup-like settings with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach.
  • Consumer Insights Expertise: Experience designing, running, and synthesizing both qualitative and quantitative research to extract actionable consumer trends.
  • Curiosity & Execution: Naturally inquisitive with a strong desire to roll up your sleeves and directly contribute to project deliverables.
  • Navigating Uncertainty: Comfortable operating in ambiguous situations and adept at resolving complex, open-ended challenges.
  • Communication & Influence: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation capabilities; able to craft concise, persuasive business narratives that align cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strategic & Tactical Range: Capable of steering high-level product vision while simultaneously managing granular details to guarantee seamless product launches.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Ability to rally cross-functional partners and build strong working relationships while leading projects toward target outcomes.
  • Analytical Decision-Making: Proficient in gathering and leveraging data to guide business strategies, balancing thorough analysis with swift execution.
