Job Title: Senior Global Benefits Analyst
Reports to: Manager, Benefits - Global
Location: Goleta, CA (Hybrid - Typically 3 times per week in office, Tuesday - Thursday) preferred; Also open to candidates within California (Remote).

The Role

The Senior Global Benefits Analyst plays a key role in managing, optimizing, and supporting the administration of employee benefit programs across multiple countries to deliver competitive, compliant, and employee-centric benefits aligned with the company's global strategy. Will lead aspects of APAC renewals, manage Canadian benefits programs, oversee expatriate and global mobility benefits, analyze benefits data, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution, strong governance, and an excellent employee experience.

Your Impact
  • Coordinate and execute global and APAC plan renewals, programs, and new plan implementations.
    • Serve as project manager tracking tasks, timelines, milestones, and risks with internal teams, consultants, and vendors.
    • Participate in renewal meetings, analyze documents, plan changes, cost impact, and contracts.
    • Prepare summaries and recommendations for leadership; maintain organized governance files.
  • Manage Canada benefits administration, compliance coordination, and vendor partnerships.
    • Administer healthcare, HCSA, and retirement programs including enrollments, eligibility changes, terminations, contributions, premium payments, and tax reporting.
    • Partner with payroll, finance, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain compliance.
    • Support Canadian leave eligibility coordination.
  • Manage expat health plan eligibility and tracking of Global Mobility cases.
    • Prepare health benefits cost estimates and draft health plan language for agreements.
    • Track and process expat enrollments, eligibility changes, terminations, and carrier coordination.
    • Escalate complex cases with recommended solutions.
  • Manage global benefit programs and invoice processing.
    • Oversee Global EAP, Business Travel Accident policy, and Expat health plans including renewals, employee education, claims filing, and reimbursements.
    • Reconcile and process global invoices; support purchase order setup and receipt tracking.
  • Support global benefits reporting, systems, communications, and projects.
    • Analyze benefits and utilization data, renewal information, trends, and employee experience insights.
    • Maintain Workday benefit plan setup, testing, data accuracy, and content.
    • Support global benefits communications, well-being initiatives, process improvements, and special projects.


Who You Are
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Professional Employee Benefits designation such as Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Certificate in Global Benefits Management (IFEBP) or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in employee benefits, HR operations, or a related field; global or multinational benefits experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting APAC countries or international benefits renewals, vendor management, plan implementation, data analysis, and employee benefits administration.
  • Leave of absence administration experience for North America (U.S. and Canada), and experience working in a multinational organization are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. and preferably international benefits principles, regulations, governance practices, and market trends.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in a cross-cultural, global environment, with the ability to explain complex benefit information clearly.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners, vendors, and consultants.
  • Strong reporting, analytical, and project management skills with attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex benefits data into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, including global communications across time zones.
  • Sound judgment, ability to work independently with limited direction, identify risks, and escalate issues with thoughtful recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance compliance, cost, operational efficiency, and employee experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with Workday, Canva, and AI tools is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
