Description:

The Senior Benefit Specialist - Client Relations provides program support to VB clients directly and by managing the day-to-day operations of the client account which is achieved by collaborating with the team on client deliverables and expectations, managing the profitability of the team's block of business, looking for ways to cross sell within the account, providing strategy to increase participation and managing the client financials to ensure profitability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited, to the following:
  • Supports the client and the team on day-to-day support, ensuring that all client deliverables are met on time and as expected in the statement of work.
  • Manages a profitable book is essential and ensuring that the client sees value and results in what our team is doing on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ensures the team operates at the highest level of integrity to optimize client satisfaction.
  • Manage the budget by creating and revising clients' new business, value adds, chargebacks, revenue shares and splits documenting and saving them to appropriate folders.
  • Create annual client-specific financial reports and save to appropriate folder.
  • Manage client management document, project plans and open items log (meetings, RFP process, communications, implementation, technology build, timeline, etc.)
  • Manage agendas, open items log and take meeting notes.
  • Quality review 360 diagnostic assessments.
  • Confirm that carriers within client strategy are MMA East approved, appointed, and added to BenefitPoint.
  • Obtain Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
  • Assist in the creation/peer review marketing results client presentation.
  • Conduct internal and external implementation call with carrier(s).
  • Schedule all client and carrier calls.
  • Review and manage the carrier agreements/contracts: request, review and send to client
  • Solely responsible for providing client requirements to BenAssist Resource Center and provide enroller training.
  • Manage billing and administrative discussions with client and carrier(s).
  • Gather and communicate client reporting metrics (benefits programs, call center, technology, etc.).
  • Prepare materials for annual stewardship, renewal, and marketing results client meetings.
  • Responsible for delivering quality communications to client.
  • Responsible for obtaining all final signoffs as it pertains to communications, platform builds, microsites, call center tools and carrier policy service documents.
  • Be the primary contact and resource for strategy, marketing, implementation, and day-to-day tasks for cases weighted 50% or less.


REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Life, Health & Accident License.
  • 6-9 years of Voluntary Benefits experience.
  • 1 year of management experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of voluntary benefit solutions and technology.
  • Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of PowerPoint and MS Excel is preferred (i.e., ability to perform pivot tables).

  • Collaborates with the VB account team, client, and internal teams to ensure that they are strategically thinking about how to solve problems and that the team is meeting the requirements of all parties.
  • Follows outlined processes, procedures and utilizes the tools available to ensure the work meets quality standards.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

WORK LOCATION
  • Work is typically performed in a hybrid manner at Marsh McLennan Agency's Conshohocken, PA office.


The applicable base salary range for this role is $87,700 to $110,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
