101,800 - 124,400

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
Our teams design and develop new technologies and products that transform the way thousands of people interact with insurance. We are looking for software developers who can bring innovative ideas.
You will work on a product designed to provide an outstanding experience in the online insurance setup and purchase process.

- Be part of a high-level multidisciplinary team
- Solve complex problems and challenges
- Help the team progress by taking part in design, code and security reviews
- Participate in different Agile/Scrum meetings

What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology / Software Engineering or any equivalent combination of training and experience
- 6 to 10 years of experience
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum mode and DevOps mindset
- Passionate about building software products
- Stimulated by challenges
- Creative, curious and resourceful
- Team player who can share and receive feedback
- Excellent at explaining your ideas to different stakeholders
- Organized, proactive and a driver of change
- Comfortable working in a constantly evolving technological environment
- Technologies required:
- Very good knowledge of Angular, Javascritpt, Css . ( 85% )
- Good knowledge of Java language. ( 15% )
- Web Dev: Angular - JAVA - Spring Boot + Spring Cloud - MongoDB / Oracle / SOAP
- Tools: Github - JIRA - Confluence - Teams - IntelliJ
- CI/CD: Jenkins - Veracode - SonarQube - Twistlock
- Hosting: Docker - Kubernetes - OpenShift - Elastic Search / Logstash / Kibana
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
