Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer with exposure to cloud architectures and public cloud offerings to join our team in building a resilient, scalable, and secure cloud-based settlement platform. This role involves requirements refinement, architecture, design, implementation, automated testing, and CI/CD pipeline creation following best software development and DevOps practices. In our agile environment, you will collaborate directly with users, product owners, business analysts, and technologists across the firm.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in refinement sessions to ensure requirements are clearly defined
- Write clean, scalable code and build automated tests
- Guide junior developers in following best software development practices
- Create CI/CD pipelines and enable telemetry capture
- Contribute to team standards and process improvements
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience building distributed systems with agile practices
- Strong working knowledge of Java and Spring frameworks (Spring Boot, etc.)
- Understanding of microservice architecture, resiliency, scalability, security, and observability
- Experience designing and implementing high-volume messaging and REST-based middleware
- Knowledge of database modeling (relational or non-relational)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
- Exposure to cloud-based development principles
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Fast learner with a desire to continuously improve
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud
- Experience with Angular
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 360 integration
- Experience with Kafka and MongoDB
Certifications- None required; cloud or DevOps certifications preferred
