We are currently seeking a
Senior Full Stack Java / Angular Developer (FTE / Hybrid) to join our team in
Charlotte,
North Carolina (US-NC),
United States (US).
Day-to-Day Job Duties- Develop and maintain enterprise web applications using Angular (65-75%) and Java-based backend services.
- Build responsive, reusable, and scalable UI components using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with architects and development teams to modernize legacy Java applications.
- Support legacy application migration to modern application architectures and cloud-ready platforms.
- Analyze existing applications and identify opportunities for modernization, refactoring, and performance improvements.
- Integrate Angular applications with REST APIs and backend microservices.
- Troubleshoot application issues across frontend and backend layers.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD, and Agile development activities.
- Collaborate with business analysts, UX teams, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams.
- Explore and apply AI/GenAI capabilities to improve application development, testing, documentation, and developer productivity.
- Create technical documentation and support deployment and production activities.
Basic Qualifications- 7+ years of experience in full-stack software development.
- 5+ years of experience with Angular, with approximately 65-75% of the role focused on frontend development.
- 5+ years of experience with TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and responsive web development.
- 4+ years of experience with Java application development.
- 3+ years of experience developing REST APIs.
- 3+ years of experience with microservices architecture.
- 3+ years of experience with Java application modernization and legacy migration.
- 2+ years of experience with Spring Boot or similar Java frameworks.
- 2+ years of experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum development.
- 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications.
- 1+ year of exposure to AI/Generative AI technologies or AI-assisted software development tools.
- 2+ years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, architects, and business stakeholders.
Travel
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Nice to Have
- 2+ years of experience with Angular Material, RxJS, NgRx, or similar Angular frameworks/libraries.
- 1+ year of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with cloud-native application modernization.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, or similar GenAI tools.
- Experience applying GenAI to code generation, test automation, documentation, or application modernization.
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
- Experience in financial services, insurance, or other enterprise environments.
#LI-NorthAmericaNTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $96,800.00 - $145,200.00. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
