Responsibilities:
Performs implementation, regular problem solving, maintenance and support for agile software development to modernize systems. Applies advanced consulting skills and/or extensive technical expertise; full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction; mentors and may supervise team members.
Area of Focus Information:
Concentrates on using both back-end and front-end languages to build complete solutions.
Required:
- Active and current TS.SCI w FSP through MD
- 14 years of experience
- Experience with developing software using Python, Java or JavaScript;
- Experience with creating static presentations and static web pages;
- Experience with developing and maintaining web-based server applications and implementing algorithms that interface with relational databases (DBs) such as MySQL or PostgreSQL;
- Experience with leading small cross-functional teams;
- Knowledge of agile team development;
Preferred:
- Experience with Java libraries to include MongoDB, Spring, and OSGi
- Experience with Perl, Python, Lua and NGINX
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and team-oriented environment and balance long- and short-term taskings
Education:- Bachelor's in Computer Science and 14+ years of experience with software engineering, or 18+ years of experience with software engineering in lieu of a degree.
Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is: $231,000-$247,000
