Responsibilities:
- As an expert in Cloud computing, supports PAC hybrid computing efforts by using knowledge of cloud computing environments in commercial and government organizations, and relevant cloud computing related academic research.
- Assist the Government in achieving its cloud computing objectives by providing high-level recommendations and guidance based on expert understanding of Cloud computing technologies and services.
Required:
- Active and current TS.SCI w FSP through MD
- Creation of configuration management automated systems through continuous integration/delivery technologies (e.g. creation of GITLAB runners),Management and sustainment of the AWS infrastructure, Creation of AWS design patterns through multiple integrated AWS services.
Education:
- A High School Diploma or GED plus twenty (20) years of IT experience.
- A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus twelve (12) years of IT experience of which five (5) years must be in the Cloud environment.
- A Master's degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus seven (7) years of IT experience.
Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
