OverviewAs a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will work with a team of developers to deliver software features, APIs, and micro-service solutions. We are looking for candidates with 5-7 years of experience writing software using Agile and DevSecOps methods such as build/release management, CI/CD practices, and test automation.
Contributions
Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and deploy micro-services and cloud-based systems using Java / React
- Collaborate with stakeholders, designers, and businesses analysts to refine requirements
- Troubleshoot software quality, security, and reliability issues
- Participate in code reviews and quality assurance
- Automate unit and functional tests
- Identify technical problems, perform root cause analysis, and develop updates and fixes
- Support debugging, troubleshooting, and testing of software
- Document software code, features, and training guides
- Use virtualization and containerization to optimize software systems
- Implement solutions and provide continuous improvement recommendations
- Presenting technical solutions and demos to a variety of stakeholders
Qualifications
Required
- 5 Years of experience with front end and backend software development languages like Java and React
- Experience developing software with cloud native services or APIs
- Experience with Azure App Service using Python Flask and JavaScript
- Experience with Azure AI services + Cosmos DB (and /or PostGRES) via Azure API Management
- 3 Years of experience using CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Experience developing in and implementing docker containers
- Experience implementing automated testing frameworks including unit testing
Preferred
- Local to the Washington, DC metro area
- Experience with Microsoft simplechat AI services
- Experience supporting technical demonstrations or tech challenges
- 5+ years of application development in an Agile environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills
