Senior FPGA Engineer - Machine Vision Camera Development

Join a Teledyne team developing industrial machine vision camera systems used in demanding applications around the world. As a Senior FPGA Engineer, you will play a key role in bringing advanced camera platforms from concept to production, owning critical FPGA subsystems that directly impact performance, cost, and product success.

What you'll do
  • Own FPGA subsystem design from requirements through production release.
  • Develop RTL for sensor interfaces, image processing pipelines, host interfaces, and control infrastructure.
  • Optimize designs for area, resource utilization, power, and cost.
  • Create constraints, perform timing closure, and analyze clock domain crossings.
  • Define FPGA/firmware interfaces, register maps, and memory architectures.
  • Develop verification plans, simulation environments, and testbenches.
  • Lead hardware bring-up and debug of prototype boards and interfaces.
  • Investigate production and field issues and drive root-cause resolution.
  • Collaborate with firmware, hardware, sensor, test, and product teams.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to FPGA development processes and reuse.
