About the RoleWe're looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst to own the financial performance of a portfolio of clinics - the go-to finance partner for forecasting, monthly performance, gross margin, and the payments practice owners rely on.
This is a high-ownership, high-impact role. You'll work closely with Practice Success Managers, practice owners, and company leadership; build the templates and AI-powered automations that scale our finance function; and turn analysis into realized P&L improvement. You won't just build the model and hand it off - you'll drive the outcome and be accountable for it.
If you enjoy owning a P&L end-to-end, building with AI, and seeing your recommendations turn into measurable margin improvement, this role is for you.
What You'll DoOwn your portfolio: forecasting, reporting & insights- Serve as the primary point of contact for all forecasting and financial-performance questions across your portfolio of clinics.
- Build and maintain clinic-level projections; prepare monthly reporting with variance analysis and commentary that gives practice owners clear visibility into performance and opportunities.
- Identify the key drivers of utilization, revenue, and cost across your portfolio; surface trends, anomalies, and risks - and turn them into insights people act on.
Practice-owner payments- Produce and own the recurring practice-owner payment calculations and payment runs, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Reconcile owner payments to clinic P&L performance and underlying revenue/collections data; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Document and standardize the payment methodology so it scales as new clinics onboard.
Gross margin & COGS optimization- Analyze gross margin and COGS at the clinic and service-line level - staffing utilization, cost structure, COGS cleanup - to identify efficiency opportunities for your portfolio.
- Quantify the margin impact of proposed changes and track realized improvement.
Business partnering- Partner closely with Practice Success Managers to drill deeper into clinic analysis and jointly own clinic outcomes.
- Act as a trusted financial advisor to independent practice owners; explain financial concepts in plain language.
- Influence without authority - drive change across a decentralized network of owner-operators.
Action planning & performance improvement- Go beyond analysis: build actionable improvement plans and drive them from problem definition through execution and measurable results.
- Work directly with owners and Practice Success Managers to execute - own the outcome, not just the recommendation.
AI & process automation- Use AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, and similar) to build the financial models, reports, and automations we use internally and send to practice owners.
- Ship like an engineer: work in GitHub - branch, open pull requests, merge to main - and deploy fixes and improvements to our finance tooling.
- Automate the manual work out of our processes - identify and ship improvements that make reporting and forecasting faster and more scalable.
- Use AI-assisted tools daily for analysis, modeling, and automation to raise both throughput and insight quality.
- Continuously document, measure, and improve P&L processes as the business grows.
Qualifications- 4+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or a similarly analytical role.
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets financial-modeling skills; solid grasp of the three financial statements and how they connect.
- You know how to build with AI agents, with a basic working knowledge of GitHub, Python, and software development fundamentals.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
We're Looking For Someone Who Is- High agency - proactive, resourceful, and able to operate independently. You fix what's broken without waiting to be asked.
- Competitive, with relentless follow-through - you play to win and stay on a problem until the result shows up in the numbers.
- An owner: self-directed, detail-oriented, and comfortable carrying end-to-end deliverables on a lean team.
- A strong written and verbal communicator who can explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders like clinic owners.
- Comfortable with startup ambiguity and a fast-changing environment.
Nice to Have- Multi-site / multi-unit P&L experience (healthcare, veterinary, dental, retail, hospitality, franchise).
- Healthcare, ABA/behavioral health, or MSO/DSO experience.
- Franchise or partner/owner-facing experience.
- Experience building business cases and driving margin/COGS improvement.
- You build with AI coding agents and ship like an engineer - writing code, opening pull requests, merging to main, and deploying fixes.
- Working knowledge of SQL and databases, Python, GitHub, and software development fundamentals.
What This Role Is Not- Not a heads-down, build-the-model-and-hand-it-off seat - roughly half the job is partnering with practice owners and Practice Success Managers to drive change.
- Not a pure accounting or month-end close role.
- Not a big-company FP&A seat with narrow scope and established process - you'll help write the playbook.
Why Finni- Meaningful problems in behavioral healthcare - your work helps expand access to autism care for children and families.
- Real trajectory: 400%+ growth, approaching profitability, backed by General Catalyst.
- Ownership from day one on a lean, execution-focused team - your work visibly moves clinic P&Ls.
- Build an AI-native finance skillset - agentic modeling, automation, and reporting - that most FP&A teams won't touch for years.
- An AI-forward finance function: you'll build with the newest agentic tools, not just spreadsheets.
- Supportive but high-expectation culture - we move with speed and intention.
- Stock options: equity in what you build.
How to ApplyIn your application, tell us about a time you didn't just analyze a problem - you drove the fix. What did you do, who did you have to bring along, and what was the quantified result?
