Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for the coordination and preparation of management financial reporting and analysis, as well as recording journal entries and account reconciliations for complex accounting areas. The Senior Analyst will report to the Director in Accounting, and be involved in process improvement projects and accounting for significant transactions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of management financial reporting.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives, accounting system implementations and other special projects.
- Coordinate with peers in the budgeting and forecasting department to analyze and prepare variance reporting.
- Provide support for the annual internal and external audits.
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance or Business Management with an emphasis in Accounting.
- Two or more years of experience in the accounting/financial reporting area
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- CPA.
- Three or more years of experience in the accounting/financial reporting areas.
- Experience in public accounting at a Big 4 firm.
- MBA, or graduate finance related degree.
- Workday, Microsoft Great Plains or other large ERP systems experience.
- Demonstrate willingness to partner across internal departments.
