Full Job Description
Job Summary:

We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Reporting Senior to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Manager of Financial Reporting, you will play a key role in preparing and filing regulatory reports, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and supporting both internal and external reporting processes. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-impact finance team at a time of significant transition, where you will be closely involved in the financial reporting and governance that are critical to the company's evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
  • Assist in the interpretation and application of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations to ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and book monthly stock-based compensation journal entries in accordance with U.S. GAAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate timely and efficient audits, ensuring all necessary supporting documentation is provided.
  • Assist technical accounting team by conducting research on complex accounting transactions and preparing written accounting memos for review by management and external auditors.
  • Work closely with internal teams (FP&A, tax, corp dev, etc.) and external advisors (e.g., legal counsel) as needed to support all financial data reporting needs.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.
  • CPA
  • 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, with public accounting or financial reporting experience preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of US GAAP, SEC regulations and SOX controls
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
  • Works well in a team environment, as well as independently
  • Excellent research & analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and follow through to execute all tasks

  • Familiarity with Netsuite and Workiva
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary Range: $89,623 - $104,500

In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
