Job DescriptionAt Eataly the Senior FP&A Analyst supports in their analysis and interpretation of data related to: Inventory Allocation, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), Labor, Revenue, Operational Expenses, and the Profit and Loss Statement. The FP&A Analyst works closely with the FP&A Manager to provide analysis and execute changes as needed to maximize profitability and productivity.
Reports directly to the FP&A Manager.
- Supports the FP&A Manager with in-depth analysis related to costs, labor, margins, operational expenses, and sales performance on a daily basis
- Works with FP&A Manager to create reports tailored to the needs of the FP&A Department and Store Management
- Supports with inventory entry and overall inventory management
- Supports occasionally with FP&A-related activities in the store, which include inventory counts and invoice processing
- Collaborates with senior leaders to develop resourceful and creative approaches to improving efficiencies and profit margins to improve Return on Investment (ROI) in all areas of operations
- Educates and trains team members on processes and procedures, ensuring smooth adoption and compliance
- Supports FP&A Manager in training team members on Eataly's in-house sales database, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or Mathematics
- Demonstrated success in financial modeling
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Data-driven mindset
- Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred
- Familiarity with databases, automation or business intelligence preferred
- Passion for and interest in Italian food is a plus
