Position Description: CGI is seeking a Senior Financial Data Analyst with prior experience supporting environments and strong knowledge of financial data analysis. This role will work with complex financial datasets and business requirements, with an emphasis on capital related reporting and analysis.
This position has an onsite expectation of 3-5 days per week in Reston, VA, with local candidates preferred.
This position is required in one of the following locations: Reston, VA
Your future duties and responsibilities: The ideal candidate will bring strong SQL and analytical skills along with an understanding of financial services concepts. Knowledge of derivatives and hedge accounting, as well as familiarity with Basel regulatory capital requirements and the Enterprise Regulatory Capital Framework (ERCF), is highly desirable.
The position requires someone who can work independently, analyze and interpret data, and communicate findings clearly to both business and technical stakeholders.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . 5+ years of experience in Data Analyst
. Strong SQL skills, including querying and analyzing complex datasets.
. Strong data analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
. Experience working with financial services data and business requirements.
. Knowledge of derivatives and hedge accounting is preferred.
. Familiarity with Basel regulatory capital requirements and ERCF (Enterprise Regulatory Capital Framework) is preferred.
. Ability to interpret financial and accounting data and translate findings into actionable business insights.
. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
. Ability to work independently and effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
. Experience in a large scale, regulated financial services environment is beneficial.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $85,100.00 $110,100.00.
