As a Senior Financial Analyst at Ridgeline, you will play a critical role in supporting variable compensation operations and Corporate FP&A, with a primary focus on ensuring compensation programs are accurately administered, analyzed, accrued, and paid. You will partner closely with Accounting, Revenue Operations, People, Sales, and business leaders to maintain strong governance, deliver reliable reporting, and provide meaningful financial insights that support company growth. You'll work with cutting-edge financial technologies and approved AI-enabled tools to improve data quality, streamline workflows, surface actionable insights, and scale repeatable processes across Finance.

The impact you will have- Support end-to-end variable compensation operations, including quota modeling, commission calculations, attainment reporting, accruals, payout analysis, and anomaly detection
- Administer and maintain compensation plans within CaptivateIQ, ensuring accurate calculations, plan governance, and timely execution
- Partner with Sales, Revenue Operations, People, Accounting, and business leaders to validate compensation inputs and ensure alignment with approved plan terms
- Prepare and reconcile commission payment files, accrual reports, variance analyses, and supporting documentation in partnership with Accounting and Payroll
- Investigate compensation inquiries, exceptions, disputes, and data discrepancies while maintaining strong controls and governance standards
- Utilize approved AI tools to streamline analysis, improve documentation, identify anomalies, and reduce manual effort while protecting confidential information
- Support monthly close activities, budget-to-actual reporting, forecasting, annual planning, and long-range planning processes
- Maintain and enhance financial models supporting headcount planning, operating expenses, compensation expense, vendor spend, and strategic investments
- Analyze financial and operational performance drivers, identify risks and opportunities, and improve forecast accuracy through data-driven insights
- Prepare reporting packages, dashboards, and executive-ready materials that translate complex financial and compensation data into clear recommendations
- Maintain process documentation, business assumptions, planning templates, and AI-assisted workflows that support scalable and auditable operations
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality, automate manual processes, strengthen controls, and increase operational efficiency as the company grows
- Contribute to a collaborative environment rooted in learning, transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement
What we look for- 3-5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, revenue operations, compensation analytics, or a related analytical function
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience supporting financial planning, forecasting, reporting, compensation analytics, or related business processes
- Familiarity with variable compensation concepts including quotas, commissions, incentive plans, attainment reporting, accruals, and payouts
- Experience working with systems such as CaptivateIQ, Salesforce, Workday, Adaptive Planning, Looker, Tableau, ERP platforms, or similar tools
- Ability to work with large datasets, reconcile information across multiple systems, and produce accurate, reliable reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex findings into practical recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy when handling sensitive financial and employee-level information
- Sound judgment and discretion when working with confidential data and AI-enabled tools
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and consistently deliver high-quality work in a deadline-driven environment
- Comfort using approved AI tools to enhance analysis, improve efficiency, and strengthen decision-making while maintaining appropriate human oversight

Compensation and Benefits The cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $107,000 - $134,000. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.
