Providence is calling for Senior Financial Analyst - Onsite

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, analytical finance professional who wants to make a meaningful impact on organizational performance and decision-making. As a key business partner, you will work closely with senior leaders to drive financial and operational excellence through budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis. In this role, you'll go beyond reporting numbers. You'll provide actionable insights that help leaders make informed decisions, improve productivity, optimize resource allocation, and achieve organizational goals. You'll play a critical role in developing financial business cases, measuring the success of key initiatives, and helping leaders understand the financial drivers behind their operations. You'll also have the opportunity to influence long-term strategy, support workforce planning, and serve as a trusted advisor to leadership teams. What You'll Do
  • Analyze financial and operational performance, identify trends and variances, and provide meaningful recommendations.
  • Develop financial models, proformas, business cases, and value propositions to support strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with leaders on annual budgets, long-range financial plans, capital planning, and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with Accounting during monthly close processes and financial reviews.
  • Create and present analyses that support effective operational and financial decision-making.
  • Review productivity metrics and operational performance indicators.
  • Support workforce planning and resource management initiatives.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and drive efficiency across teams.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts.
  • Develop and provide training to leadership teams and managers regarding budget reporting, metrics, and related financial information.
  • Meet regularly with senior leaders to provide ongoing guidance on financial leadership, enabling them to make informed decisions, manage resources effectively, and drive operational and financial performance within their departments.
  • Supports program managers, finance leaders, and external funding agencies by ensuring project/grant expenditures are accurately recorded, properly allocated, compliant with funding requirements, and reported in a timely manner.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to prepare grant budgets, reconcile grant accounts, and assists with audits and funding applications.
  • Lead assigned tasks and projects to successful completion with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 years Analytical and Business experience.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration.
  • Upon hire: Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Upon hire: Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
  • 2 years Healthcare related experience.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
