POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Company's compensation, workforce planning, and people analytics strategies. This position partners closely with Human Resources, Finance, and business leaders to provide data-driven insights related to compensation programs, headcount planning, incentive compensation, budgeting, and organizational effectiveness. The individual will develop financial and analytical models, support annual compensation cycles, and help drive strategic workforce decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support compensation planning activities, including annual salary reviews, incentive compensation programs, market benchmarking, and pay equity analyses.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and business leaders to develop and maintain workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and labor cost models.
  • Analyze compensation, benefits, and workforce-related data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting that provide actionable insights into compensation metrics, workforce costs, organizational trends, and key people indicators.
  • Support the development, administration, and ongoing evaluation of short-term and long-term incentive plans.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and executive-level analyses related to compensation programs, workforce planning initiatives, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Perform scenario modeling and ad hoc analyses to support strategic business decisions.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to automation and reporting enhancements.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with compensation-related policies, practices, and applicable regulations.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Human Resources, Business Administration, Analytics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in compensation, workforce planning, FP&A, HR analytics, or a related analytical function.
  • Experience supporting compensation programs, labor cost planning, incentive compensation, or workforce analytics preferred.
  • Mortgage, financial services, banking, or related industry experience preferred.


Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge:
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills; familiar with BI tools and financial systems.
  • Solid grasp of accounting fundamentals.
  • Experience utilizing HRIS, compensation, and reporting tools such as Workday, Adaptive Planning, Power BI, Tableau, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to partner effectively with HR and business leaders.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and sound judgment.


Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
  • Working on-site at assigned office location.
  • Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership.
  • Flexibility to work occasional adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines or as business needs demand.
  • Working in a cubicle hub, maintaining focus on phone calls in a noisy environment within earshot of multiple other conversations.
  • Sedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time.
  • Constant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls.
  • Constantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures.
