Technical Operations, Engineering, and Cyber Security within the NBCU Operations and Technology division have an operating cash flow of $800M+ ($1.1B FCF). The group functions as a global shared service within NBCUniversal, performing critical functions including Media, Broadcast and Studio Operations and production, Content Supply Chain, Information Technology and Engineering, and Cyber Security. The group operates from numerous locations worldwide, including New York, Los Angeles, Denver, and London.

The Senior Financial Analyst will play an integral role on the Tech Operations, Engineering, Cyber (TOEC) FP&A team, which oversees the consolidation and analysis of financial information (OCF, Capital, and Allocations) across multiple lines of business. The position offers unique exposure to strategic planning that has an enterprise-wide impact. This role will report to the VP of FP&A for Tech Operations, Engineering, Cyber.

Here you can:
  • Assist in all aspects of annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, analyzing key metrics and trends, and summarizing for executive level presentations
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and provide regular reporting on financial performance, variances, and trends
  • Identify and streamline system operations, reporting, and forecasting processes
  • Collaborate with finance business partners to tell a compelling, concise, and consistent financial story
  • Assist in the planning and close processes related to Central P&Ls, including but not limited to accruals, project maintenance, and workforce planning
  • Cultivate productive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance business outcomes
  • Contribute to presentations and undertake ad-hoc projects & analysis as needed, providing insight into financial performance and key performance indicators (KPIs)


Qualifications

Here you'll need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting and/or Consulting
  • Solid financial and analytical skills including the ability to contribute to complex financial models and executive-level presentations
  • Must be proficient with MS Office Suite products - particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

Additional Information

This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
