Job Description

Operations & Technology (O&T) is a $1.5B operating cash flow ($2B FCF) division of NBCUniversal. The group functions as a global shared service within NBCUniversal performing critical functions including Media, Broadcast and Studio Operations & Production, Content

Supply Chain, Information Technology and Engineering, as well as Cyber Security. The group operates from numerous locations around the world, including New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, and London.

The Senior Financial Analyst will support O&T's OCF & Headcount financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and analysis. This role will aid in tracking and consolidating approximately $1.5B of annual OCF across a variety of business lines within the O&T portfolio. This role provides the unique opportunity to gain a solid understanding of NBCU operations through daily exposure/interaction with operational finance managers, technical support teams, and corporate finance. The role will report to the Manager of FP&A.

Here you can:
  • Support the Manager of FP&A in all aspects of OCF annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, analyzing key metrics and trends, and summarizing for high level presentations
  • Aid the HQ team in collaborating with operational finance leads to consolidate and analyze OCF and Headcount submissions
  • Track, reconcile, and report headcount
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
  • Develop and maintain relationships with operational finance to understand business drivers and support decision-making
  • Drive continuous improvement and simplification of FP&A processes and systems
  • Assist with various ad-hoc analyses/requests
  • Oversee O&T reporting hierarchies and system solution, serve as liaison to IT support team to design, test and implement functionality improvements


Qualifications

Here you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A experience preferred
  • Must be proficient with MS Office Suite products - particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Knowledge of Essbase, SAP, and BPC preferred

Additional Information

This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
