Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of SAP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to present analyses to senior audiences.
• Strong financial accounting and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, transforming, and acquisition-driven environment.
• Structured and results-oriented individual with the confidence to challenge assumptions and influence decision-making.
• Bilingual in French/English, able to communicate with regulatory authorities and clients outside Quebec.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of monthly and quarterly financial results, proactively identifying accounting issues, risks, and business opportunities, and providing actionable explanations of variances.
• Take charge of designing, developing, and continuously improving financial reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to support management in achieving financial and strategic objectives.
• Play a leading role in the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting cycles, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with operational and corporate strategies.
• Actively support and advance financial priorities and strategic initiatives across the company.
• Provide senior-level support during monthly and annual closings, including oversight of inventory processes and complex accounting entries.
• Lead the tracking, analysis, and communication of key performance indicators (KPIs), including detailed production and cost variance analysis against standards.
• Act as a partner to operations and management for reviewing standard costs, cost analysis, and margin improvement initiatives using robust financial models.
• Advise stakeholders by translating complex financial data into clear, relevant analyses, recommendations, and business decisions.
