Job Duties- Maintains financial, billing, and statistical databases, decision support systems, and financial or statistical elements of related systems supporting budgeting, financial analysis, and reimbursement.
- Participates in providing effective service to customers which are comprised of all levels of management of various disciplines.
- Prepares accurate and complete financial information for timely distribution to internal and external users.
- Participates in the accurate, timely, and understandable completion of financial analysis, operations reporting, information technology software implementation and support, and other areas as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Management.
- 5 years experience concentrating in reimbursement, budgeting, financial analysis, or financial reporting and
- 5 years experience in Finance and/or data analysis in a medical group environment.
- Knowledge of IDX Physician Billing, IDX Analyzer, and electronic medical record systems.
- Knowledge of MSAccess, SQL, or Oracle database administration.
- Knowledge of physician payment methodologies.
- Proficiency in the use of personal computers operated in a Windows environment and ability to use various mainframe and PC-based software applications.
Preferred Qualifications- Master’s Degree In Business Administration.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- CPA - Certified Public Accountant - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
Physical DemandsLift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
