About This Role:The Senior Financial Analyst, Operations FP&A will play a key role in financial planning, reporting, and decision support at iRhythm Technologies. In this role, you will partner closely with the VP Operations & Supply Chain, the direct team of the SVP RAQA, and other cross-functional leaders to consolidate operations business performance, support return on investment (ROI) modeling for strategic projects, manage operating expense and CORS planning, and deliver reporting, results, and strategic insights to key stakeholders.
What You Will Be Doing - Analyze performance vs. budget, forecast, and prior periods; clearly communicate key drivers and implications
- Partner with cost accounting manager to understand key assumptions in CORS (cost of revenue sold) and gross margin and assist in forecasting and reporting
- Prepare and enhance reporting with clear narratives and insights, including monthly business review report outs, project/capital updates, and roll forwards
- Own monthly close activities for areas of ownership including accruals, reclasses, and headcount reconciliations
- Build return on investment models for savings initiatives and strategic projects
- Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecast processes, including scenario/sensitivity analysis
- Partner with leaders and budget owners to manage expenses, track spend, identify risks/opportunities, and support cost initiatives
- Partner with the Cost Accounting team to ensure alignment of accounting treatment of actuals aligns with forecasting and modeling
- Provide ad hoc analysis and support special projects as needed
What We Want to See - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, operations finance, or related roles
- Experience in modeling and working with large data sets
- Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills
- Strong analytical and communication skills, including comfort presenting to senior stakeholders
- Healthcare, medical device, and/or public company experience a plus

- Experience supporting the Operations/Manufacturing organization or working with Cost Accounting
- Experience with ERP systems such as QAD or SAP
- Experience with Financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive a plus)

- Self-motivated and proactive with strong ownership and follow-through
Work Environment / Other Requirements: - Comfortable operating independently and collaborating cross-functionally in a blended setting (remote and on-site)
- This role will be hybrid with 2-3 days on-site at the Orange County manufacturing and intake facility for hands on support of business partners and operations.
