Full Job Description
The Opportunity

Join the team powering Hinge Health's next chapter of growth. As we navigate life as a public company, we need a sharp financial mind who can flex across the highest-priority workstreams in Strategic Finance, turning data into the insights that shape how we plan, scale, and tell our story to the Street.

This role is intentionally scoped as a generalist seat. You'll start by partnering closely with our Go-To-Market and Commercial leaders on unit economics, channel ROI, and growth investment decisions. Over time, the role is expected to rotate into other areas of Strategic Finance, including investor relations support. You'll get a front-row seat to and recommend solutions for the biggest commercial and capital markets questions facing a market-leading digital health company.

What You'll Accomplish

In your first 3 months:
  • Build relationships with accounting and sales stakeholders; own the monthly close and re-forecast process for GTM cost centers.
  • Audit existing reports and dashboards, identifying quick wins for automation and standardization that support effective analysis.

In your first 6 months:
  • Deliver an automated reporting suite that gives leadership real-time visibility into GTM performance metrics (CAC, retention, engagement).
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on unit economics for new deals and new offerings to inform investment decisions.
  • Begin contributing to adjacent Strategic Finance workstreams as priorities shift, including ad-hoc analyses that support Investor Relations and the public markets narrative.

Who You Are
  • Adaptable: You ramp quickly into new domains, thrive when priorities shift, and treat scope changes as opportunities rather than disruptions.
  • A "Learn-it-all": You don't have all the answers, but you bring intellectual curiosity, a bias toward finding the truth in the data, and a willingness to challenge assumptions.
  • A Hustler: You think big, question the status quo, and find creative ways to turn financial insights into action-even with lean resources.
  • A Trust Builder: You communicate complex financial concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, and you partner cross-functionally with low ego and high impact.
  • Accountable: You own your deliverables, act decisively, and thrive with autonomy in a fast-paced environment.

Basic Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, transaction advisory or equity research.
  • Strong financial modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets, with a solid understanding of corporate finance principles (forecasting, variance analysis, business modeling).
  • Excellent communication skills-ability to synthesize and present insights to leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams independently.

Preferred Requirements
  • Experience business partnering with S&M and other functions at high-growth tech, healthcare, or B2B2C businesses.
  • Passion for using AI to boost team efficiency, financial analytics and accuracy
  • Prior experience with SFDC, Adaptive Planning, Mode Analytics, and/or SQL.
  • High interpersonal intelligence with an aptitude for listening, building relationships, and influencing stakeholders.

Hinge Health Hybrid Model

We believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages, and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days per week, for the full 8 hours of a typical business day. The San Francisco office is a dog-friendly workplace.
