Job Overview

Responsible for assisting with budgeting, forecasting, tracking, analysis and reporting of various financial data for numerous departments such as Sales, Marketing, and Operations that support the achievement of short and long-term business objectives.

*This role is an on-site position*

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively support the annual budgeting process by working closely with other departments to produce a quality bottom-up budget
  • Responsible for preparing quarterly forecasts with detailed analytical support for all projections
  • Develop analytical models in Excel to support senior management decision making on special projects
  • Prepare, analyze and present recommendation on financial forecasts, future trends and the impact to operational goals and objectives impacting both short- and long-term financial objectives. Establish and maintain linkages with commercial and operational functions
  • Seek opportunities to improve efficiency of processes while maintaining accuracy.
  • Analyze weekly and monthly variance reports and provide explanations for deviations.
  • Provide analytical and technical expertise on major initiatives
  • Responsible for various month end activities
  • Ensure effective internal controls are in place, monitored, and adhered to throughout the Company

  • Completion of university degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of financial analysis experience
  • Completion of CPA, CMA, or CGA designation
  • Intermediate Power BI skills required
  • Job specific knowledge of consumer-packaged goods industry or manufacturing and proven financial analysis and problem-solving skills
