Responsibilities

  • Develop metrics to track growth, profitability, expense control, and productivity

  • Deliver high value-added financial insights for strategic decision making
  • Support financial decisions through analytical approaches and modeling
  • Prepare executive-level summaries, reports, and presentations for Board and management
  • Assist with annual budgeting, routine forecasting, and pricing/cost estimating initiatives
  • Enhance and streamline financial processes to better align operational drivers with financial outcomes

Senior Financial Analyst

Your role on the team:

  • Develops appropriate metrics for the business to measure growth, profitability, expense control, and productivity
  • Analyzes monthly results, key drivers, issues, and opportunities
  • Delivers innovative, high value-added financial information to the management team for strategic decision making
  • Supports key financial decisions using analytical approaches and modeling
  • Prepares Executive and Board financial performance summaries, reports, and presentations
  • Assists with the preparation of annual budgets and routine forecasts
  • Develops increasingly efficient and impactful processes that support business financial needs (examples may include improved linkages between operational drivers and the financials, KPIs, bridging results, forecasting and budgeting efficiency)
  • Supports pricing and cost estimating initiatives in collaboration with customer operations
  • Completes ad hoc assignments as needed


What you need:

  • Minimum 4 years Corporate Finance experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems preferred
  • PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Hyperion Reporting Suite
  • Ability to read and interpret financial documents and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups or employees of organization
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
