Purpose of Position:Del Monte Foods is the Foods Division of Fresh Del Monte, a global grower, producer and marketer of fresh, value-added, and shelf-stable produce. Del Monte Foods has a powerful portfolio of brands, including the iconic Del Monte®, Contadina® and S&W®. We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Commercial FP&A to play a key role in supporting commercial performance and decision making.
Under direction of the Senior Finance Manager, this role partners cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Management to review business drivers, performance metrics, and deliver actionable insights that influence pricing, trade and portfolio decisions.
The role also supports monthly close and consolidation in partnership with Accounting to ensure accurate, timely reporting. The ideal candidate drives process improvements and strengthens planning and reporting through clear, influential financial storytelling.
Accountabilities:Performance Management, Strategic Analysis & Decision Support- Under Managerial guidance, drive financial performance reviews, operational KPIs, and volume, price, and mix drivers to support short- and long-term planning, forecasting, and strategic decision making.
- Act as a business partner to cross functional teams, applying category management and consumer insights, trade promotional activity and effectiveness, and competitive intelligence to help inform business strategy.
- Perform monthly variance analysis (actuals vs. forecast, budget, and prior year), identify key performance drivers, and recommend actions to improve results.
- Support CPG specific COGS and gross margin review (commodities, packaging, copacker, plant variances, yield/scrap, and freight) to quantify drivers and inform pricing, trade, mix, and SKU/portfolio actions.
- Provide inputs that support cross functional decision making through pricing analysis, scenario modeling, margin analysis, and profitability assessment across SKUs and channels.
- Produce and distribute weekly sales reports, monitor trends, and highlight key variances or risks to stakeholders.
- Drive the forecast process for marketing expense, partnering with stakeholders to monitor spend, identify variances, and support accurate planning and decision-making.
Close, Consolidation & Financial Systems- Support the monthly consolidation process by partnering with Accounting during close to ensure accurate, timely, and complete financial results.
- During close, update and maintain Anaplan forecasts and models to ensure accuracy and real time visibility into performance.
- Upload management P&L results into Planful to support corporate consolidation and reporting requirements.
- Assist in preparing executive ready financial decks and present key insights, performance drivers, and outlook to leadership.
- Review and align with Accounting on Foodservice trade spend accruals, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely close.

- Four-year college degree, preferably in accounting. Other degrees such as finance, business, related field or equivalent will be considered with sufficient public accounting experience (5 years minimum).
