As a Senior Financial Analyst, you play a critical role in driving financial strategy and informed decision-making across the organization. You conduct rigorous quantitative analyses of budgets, expenses, investments, and economic trends to provide senior leadership with accurate, timely insights. Your ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations directly influences strategic and operational decisions. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, analytical rigor, and strong communication are essential. About the role

  • Analyze cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments to make recommendations for financial procedures, plans, and controls
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and ensure accuracy of all financial information and economic indicators
  • Collect, compile, and verify financial data for assigned accounts, products, or business units to track organizational progress against financial goals and identify variances
  • Analyze the financial implications of proposed investments and transactions to help senior leadership evaluate alternatives against business objectives
  • Evaluate industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization's short, medium, and long-term financial and competitive position
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and providing critical insights for future financial planning
  • Report current and expected financial performance, create financial models, and develop new methods of analysis and presentation to guide decision-making


About you

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or financial planning and analysis (FP&A), ideally in mortgage banking or a high-volume financial services environment
  • Strong proficiency with financial modeling, Power BI tools, Excel, and data visualization tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced proficiency in financial planning software (TM1 or Adaptive)
  • CFA or CPA certification
  • Experience with forecasting and budgeting in a mortgage banking or financial services environment
  • Self-driven with a demonstrated desire to actively grow and develop professionally
