Overview

WHO are we looking for?

CAPTRUST is seeking a Senior Financial Advisor who will provide high-quality service to new and existing institutional retirement plan clients. A competitive salary is offered for this role as well as excellent career growth potential with an ever-growing firm. Primary responsibilities may include the following, among others:

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide an important client-facing role delivering investment reviews and other presentations in-person and virtually
  • Expected to be aware and informed of client needs and provide proactive service to clients
  • Work with all other departments and maintain rapport to ensure high levels of communication, professionalism, and working team environment
  • Provide market overviews, investment performance, and plan/provider topical items for client meetings and as requested by clients
  • Manage/complete meeting notes, high-level projects and action items post client meeting
  • Compile reports, presentations, and spreadsheets for clients that are customized in nature
  • Help ensure a high level of client satisfaction and loyalty
  • Assist with sales and marketing efforts to create future opportunities with both existing clients and prospects
  • Expected to continue financial education and stay abreast of industry trends and planning topics


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of applicable industry experience
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation and/or Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) preferred
  • Series 65 or 66 registration

Desired Qualifications/Skills:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to communicate information to a technical audience, plan committees, and C-suite executives, etc.
  • Strong understanding of investments for 401(k) plans and Pensions
  • Deep knowledge of institutional retirement plans and ERISA
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Strong organizational skills
