Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 14 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
  • Experience building, developing, and managing teams.
  • Experience in finance including planning, annual planning, financial reporting, business case review, cost management and executing automation within a multinational company setting.

Preferred qualifications:
  • 3 years in Telecommunications Infrastructure and Networking Equipment industry.
  • Experience in statistical, probabilistic, and decision tree modeling for complex business scenarios, with strong investigative skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python to independently query large datasets, build dashboards, and develop actionable financial insights.
  • Supply chain expertise from demand forecasting through procurement, with deep understanding of lead times, inventory buffering, and Excess and Obsolescence management.
  • Ownership mindset with the capacity to both advocate for and constructively challenge business initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority, effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams at all levels to set objectives and drive results.

Our team's goal is to drive the efficient scaling of the largest global network. As a Finance Manager supporting Technical Infrastructure's (TI) Networking team, you will be an integral finance business partner to the team that builds and operates Google's network.

You will become a financial expert, trusted partner, and responsible for providing actionable insights that have a meaningful impact on the business. In this role, you'll have a unique opportunity to work regularly with the business' senior leadership team (Vice Presidents and Directors). You will be closely integrated into the business and expected to serve as a strategic thought partner.

In this role, your teams work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, will be used by our engineering, business, and finance leaders to make strategic resource allocation decisions.
