ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to lead EA Mobile Finance, partnering with leaders across EA Mobile's portfolio of live service titles and new product investments. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, you will serve as a trusted finance partner to EA Mobile portfolio, product, commercial, and finance leaders, helping connect financial planning, business performance, and mobile growth strategy. You will work a hybrid schedule defined as three days in an EA office.

This is a highly visible role for a strong thinker, communicator, and player-coach who can operate across a complex, dynamic mobile business. You bring, clear financial storytelling, and are skilled at influencing decisions across portfolio performance, investment prioritization, resource allocation, and return on investment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Partner with EA Mobile leaders to evaluate strategic choices, investment priorities, and business performance through a clear financial and ROI lens.
  • Translate mobile franchise economics, player behavior, monetization trends, KPIs, cost drivers, live service performance, and new product investments into clear insights and recommendations that support growth, profitability, and long-term business success.
  • Own financial planning and performance analysis across EA Mobile, including full P&L management, forecasting, close analysis, risks and opportunities, scenario analysis, consolidation, and executive reporting.
  • Lead and coach EA Mobile FP&A team members, setting clear priorities, providing thoughtful guidance, and enabling high-quality decision support and strong business impact.
  • Enhance team productivity and impact through prioritization, simplification, automation, standardization, and thoughtful change management.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment analysis, corporate finance, or a related field; gaming, mobile, or live service experience helpful.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching finance talent in a complex, cross-functional environment.
  • Demonstrated financial modeling skills, including driver-based forecasting, scenario analysis, business case development, portfolio analysis, and full P&L management.
  • Solid foundation of accounting principles and GAAP; experience with BI and planning tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Familiarity with and willingness to adopt AI-powered business tools, including generative AI and LLM applications, to enhance financial analysis, reporting, decision support, and workflow efficiency, while maintaining appropriate standards for data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$133,500 - $186,400 CAD

* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$153,700 - $233,600 USD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and other incentive programs.

For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and other incentive programs.
