Full Job Description
EMR is currently seeking a strategic and commercially minded Senior Finance Manager to join our Finance team in Camden, NJ. This is an opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys working closely with the business, understanding what drives performance, and using financial insight to help leaders make better decisions. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will partner with regional finance teams, operational leaders, and other key stakeholders across the business. This is not a traditional FP&A management role. While you will perform financial analysis and work closely with the FP&A function, the primary focus of this position is business partnering, strategic analysis, decision support, investment evaluation, and performance improvement. The ideal candidate is curious about how a business operates, comfortable challenging assumptions, and able to connect financial information with operational and commercial priorities. The pay for this role is $130 - 165k/yr Key Responsibilities • Partner closely with regional finance and operational leadership to understand business performance, opportunities, and risks. • Develop a strong understanding of the operational and commercial drivers of the business. • Provide financial analysis and strategic insight to support business decisions and priorities. • Develop financial models, scenarios, and business cases for strategic initiatives and investments. • Evaluate capital investments and other significant business opportunities. • Analyze business performance and identify trends, risks, opportunities, and improvement actions. • Challenge assumptions and provide sound financial and commercial recommendations. • Support post-investment reviews and performance tracking of major initiatives. • Participate in strategic projects, process improvement initiatives, and other cross-functional business priorities. • Support acquisitions, due diligence, and integration activities as needed. • Work with the FP&A team to provide analysis and insight in support of broader business objectives. • Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting, management information, processes, and decision-making. • Utilize technology, automation, business intelligence tools, and emerging capabilities such as AI to improve analysis and efficiency where appropriate. • Build strong working relationships across finance, operations, commercial teams, and senior leadership. • Provide coaching and guidance to junior finance team members as appropriate. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field. • 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, commercial finance, operations finance, strategic finance, or a related discipline. • Strong financial analysis and financial modeling skills. • Experience using financial information to support operational or strategic business decisions. • Demonstrated experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders. • Ability to translate complex financial information into clear, practical recommendations. • Strong Excel and financial reporting skills. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment. • A strong commercial mindset and genuine curiosity about how the business operates. #LI-Onsite IND02
